No. Start in Discover or Archive: articles marked Text available can be read inside BIT. For a Headline only article, members with capture access can use Article Capture to save text they can read at the publisher.

No. Archive brings together collected reporting and research. It starts with Text available; switch to Full catalog for more headlines and links. Text available means text has been retained, not that every part of the original is present.

The companion helps explain ideas, assumptions and implications in the article you are reading. Research connects several articles and notes to compare arguments or trace a topic through history. Check their references against the available text; missing article text is not evidence.

Archive is your team’s shared collection. My Library opens to Saved, for articles you deliberately save or import. Reading history separately keeps track of articles you opened so you can return to them.

The team shares its catalog and approved article text. New contributor captures stay in their own library until an administrator approves sharing. Contributor recaptures open the existing shared copy. Notes, AI conversations and reading progress remain personal.

No. The demo uses real, linked public articles with short BIT reading briefs and prepared explanations. It makes no live AI call. Saved demo insights stay in this browser, separate from your BIT account.

Yes. The interface is available in English and Chinese, while article titles and originals stay in the publisher’s language. Ask the AI in Chinese, or request a Chinese translation of retained text from an article page.

Discover’s shared article pool refreshes on a 30-minute schedule, with each reader’s interests and followed sources shaping their view. New arrivals may appear as headlines before captured text is ready. Returning to the list needs no manual refresh. The public demo is not a live feed.

Article Capture supports our followed publishers and supported PDFs. Retained original PDFs can be read in their original layout, including charts and tables. Text extraction depends on the file; scanned pages may lack searchable text.

Choose Open BIT and sign in with Google or email and password. New members need an administrator’s invitation, and email registration requires verification.
